This discussion will explore the value of writing therapy for optimal health or for those recovering from serious illness. It will be a variation of the ground-breaking work by James Pennebaker whose research showed the relationship between natural language use and one’s health.
Participants will explore various forms of writing including expressive, transactional. poetic, affirmative and legacy writing. This will be a gentle, guided process where no writing skills are required and participants share only that which they wish to contribute.
